PSARA License for Delhi- What is PSARA license?

The PSARA License is issued to carry out operations in one or more districts of a state or for the entire state.

Who can apply for a PSARA license?

· 1) It's not limited to Ex-servicemen, anyone can apply for a PSARA license;

· 2) No Minimum Educational Qualification required.

· 3) Possession of an office prior to applying for the license is a must, can be owned, leased or rented. If rented then the rent agreement may be unregistered or registered plus a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the owner is necessary.

· 4) In some state’s applicant should be financially sound, which should reflect in its Income Tax Return

Renewal of License –

  • PSARA License’s validity - 5 years

  • Afterward, it needs to be renewed after the payment of a stipulated fee.

  • Application for renewal - 45 days prior to the expiry of License.

What Are The Documents Required For Obtaining The PSARA License?

If you want to start a security company then the document necessary for Psara License for Haryana. The requirement of documents varies from state to state, common documents are listed below:

  • Identity cards of the Security guard.

  • MOA( Memorandum of Understanding)

  • Company’s Incorporation certificate

  • Id proofs of all the employees and directors

  • The affidavit under the PSARA.

  • Logo of the agency.

  • Address proof of the Office

  • Promoter’s PAN details

  • Security training’s affidavit

  • Registration from ESI (Employees States Insurance)

  • PF’s (Provident Fund) documents.

  • Two photographs of promoters.

  • Character certificate of all the employees.

  • Copy of ITR (Income Tax Return) of every Director.

What is the Registration Fee For Obtaining The License?

  • One district – INR 5000

  • One to five districts – INR 10,000

  • Entire state – INR 25,000
